Our only agenda is to support children in need.

Our Mission
The purpose of Supporters of Children is to assist existing Colorado organizations in meeting children’s needs.
We make direct purchases of goods and services to benefit youth in need who are identified by our partner organizations.
Every penny donated to SOC goes directly to the recipient. *
*All administrative and overhead expenses are covered by SOC board members.

Where we started
Supporters of Children was preceded, in 1990, by an organization called One Day House, a support and daycare center for children affected by HIV/AIDS. This collaboration of professionals and donors renovated the large north Denver home through 100% donated efforts and materials.
In 1995, Supporters of Children was created by the founders of One Day. Working with our partner organizations, SOC has been able to help bring positive change to the lives of hundreds of children.

SOC is funded 100% by individual donors who give to SOC directly and through family foundations, small businesses, corporations, and employee matching programs.
How We Work
Our small, dynamic working board and allies do all the heavy lifting, including underwriting all administrative costs so 100% of donations can go directly to the kids.
